Taznaght Woven Carpet
A very symbolic wool rug from Taznaht , at the foot of High Atlas Mountains and the fringes of Sahara . The many lozenges
were woven in this carpet (three big ones in the middle and tens on the side ends) is a witness that a weaver is superstitous person, believing in the eye. The almost bright blue color on the top represents the dawn sky in that area , with a bright star ; and the dark blue color at the botton of this beautiful piece of art stands for the dark night sky, with a very bright star. On the other hand, the red color in the middle represents the burning sky, the burning sun and the hot in Taznakht.
